The contact form stores name, email, company, an optional website, the message, and a timestamp, in the same database on Neon. It is not sent through a form vendor. You can also write to hello@ready4bots.com, which is received through Cloudflare email forwarding. The Bot-Ready-Check stores the report for a public URL. It fetches robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap, Agent Card, OpenAPI, MCP, /.well-known/ready4bots.json, and /bot-ready.json. It does not store the full page. The site is hosted on Vercel. Records live in Postgres on Neon when DATABASE_URL is set. Waitlist confirmation mail, when sending is turned on, goes out through Resend. Before a choice, the site sets no cookie and loads no analytics. Accept and Reject store one first-party cookie, r4b_consent, for six months. IP addresses are not written into the waitlist, the contact message, or the check report. The task store is in memory, so a later GetTask on another Vercel isolate can miss the task. The SendMessage response already contains the finished task. Rate limit: 30 JSON-RPC requests per 10 minutes per IP. When DATABASE_URL is set the counter is a fixed window in Postgres, shared by every instance. Otherwise it is in memory on that process. # Method How Ready4Bots defines R0 to R4, and how the test agent behaves. ## Levels These are the same definitions as the homepage. ### R0 Closed An agent cannot get started, so customers who buy through an agent will not reach you. The homepage did not answer, robots.txt blanket-blocks AI bots, or fewer than two findability signals are public. No seal. ### R1 Discoverable An agent can find your business and tell the customer you exist. At least two of llms.txt, schema.org identity, a sitemap, and the canonical manifest. No live agent surface yet. ### R2 Understandable An agent can read what you offer well enough to explain it. A live Agent Card, OpenAPI, or MCP. Seller and developer surfaces stop here. ### R3 Actionable An agent reaches the guest-checkout address form without logging in. For SaaS, that is a signup or trial without partner approval. A customer OpenAPI or MCP also opens R3, and it is not required. A public product search that only shows prices stays at R2. Seller and developer APIs stop at R2. A return policy or SLA sets r4_candidate. ## Self-Check vs. Live-Test im Index The self-check scores technical signals according to the spec, so R2 is a live Agent Surface. The live test in the index, which the test agent runs on the real page, sets R2 for shops when the agent can read products and prices, and R3 when it reaches guest checkout. Both scales are named R0 to R4, and each result shows which source it comes from.
