Shopify app help
How Bot-Ready by Ready4Bots works inside the Shopify admin. Installing the app does not make a shop bot-ready, does not award R4, and does not award the seal. The app is free. It does not charge the shop and it does not sell a paid service.
The check
After install, and when you open the app or press Re-check, the app reads the shop's primary domain and runs the same public Bot-Ready check as ready4bots.com. The admin shows a level from R0 to R3, the reason, and the weak spots that are still open. This check does not award R4.
llms.txt
When /llms.txt is not already redirected, the app creates one redirect to the app proxy and serves a short catalog file from the shop name, collections, and products. That file points at Shopify's Storefront MCP and Universal Commerce Protocol endpoints. If a redirect for that path already exists, the app leaves it in place. The app does not host its own MCP server.
Structured data
A theme embed can add Organization and WebSite structured data, and Product structured data only where the theme does not already output it. Shopify does not let the app turn the embed on. Use the link in the admin to open the theme editor and save the embed yourself. The next storefront page load runs the check again.
Listing request
Request listing on Ready4Bots stores the shop domain and the time of the request for a later Mystery test. It does not add the shop to the public index and does not award a seal.
Uninstall
Uninstall deletes the app session and the /llms.txt redirect if this app created it. A redirect the shop already had is left in place. Shopify's shop/redact later deletes the remaining rows for that shop.
