Shopify app privacy
This notice covers the embedded Shopify app Bot-Ready by Ready4Bots, operated by Launch Labs Systems LLC. It is separate from the ready4bots.com website privacy notice. Installing the app does not make a shop bot-ready. The app checks the shop's public storefront and shows what to fix.

What the app does
After you install the app, and when you open it in the Shopify admin, it reads the shop's primary domain from Shopify and runs the same public Bot-Ready check as ready4bots.com. The check also runs on install, when you press Re-check, and again after you turn on the theme embed and a storefront page loads. When /llms.txt is not already redirected, the app creates one redirect from /llms.txt to the app proxy and serves llms.txt from the shop name, collection titles, and product titles. If a redirect for that path already exists, the app leaves it in place. The theme embed adds Organization and WebSite structured data, and Product structured data only where the theme does not already output it. You turn that embed on yourself. Installing the app does not make a shop bot-ready, does not award R4, and does not award the seal.
What we store
We store the shop's myshopify domain, the public primary domain we checked, the check result (level, score, and the weak spots we show), and the app's offline access token in a Postgres table named shopify_sessions. When this app creates the /llms.txt redirect, we store that redirect id. If you press Request listing on Ready4Bots, we store the shop domain and the time of the request. A listing request does not add the shop to the public index. llms.txt is generated when it is requested and is not stored. The database is the same Postgres database as ready4bots.com when DATABASE_URL is set. We do not store the full storefront page.
What we do not store
We do not store customer personal data, orders, or protected customer data. The app requests no customer scopes. The scopes are read_products and write_online_store_navigation. read_products is used to list product and collection titles, handles, and descriptions in llms.txt. We do not store a staff profile. A customers/data_request or customers/redact webhook has nothing to return or delete.
Deletion
When you uninstall the app, Shopify sends app/uninstalled. We delete the session for that shop and we delete the /llms.txt redirect if this app created it. We do not delete a redirect we did not create. Shopify later sends shop/redact and we delete every row we hold for that shop, including the session, the check result, the redirect record, and any listing request.
