WooCommerce plugin help
How the free WordPress.org plugin Ready4Bots – Bot-Ready Check for WooCommerce works. The plugin is free. It does not charge the shop and it does not sell a paid service. Installing it does not make a shop bot-ready, does not award R4, and does not award the seal.
Install
Install Ready4Bots – Bot-Ready Check for WooCommerce from WordPress.org on a shop that already runs WooCommerce. In the WordPress admin, open WooCommerce, then Ready4Bots. Nothing is sent to ready4bots.com when you install or activate the plugin. The features that run on the shop keep working without a call to ready4bots.com.
What the check does
The check runs only when you click it. The plugin sends the shop's public home URL and the admin language to https://ready4bots.com/api/check. Ready4Bots reads public pages the way an AI agent would and returns a level from R0 to R3, a score, the weak spots, and fix hints. This check does not award R4 and does not award the seal. We store the report on ready4bots.com until you ask for deletion, as in the privacy notice, and the plugin can keep a copy on the shop. A weekly re-check is a separate opt-in and is off by default. A public result page is created only if you opt in. Keeping checks private by default is planned and is not in place until that private flag is live.
llms.txt
The plugin can serve /llms.txt from the shop: the shop name, a short description, the WooCommerce Store API endpoints, endpoints of other agent plugins when those are present, categories, and products. It is built on the shop. If a physical llms.txt file is already in the web root, the plugin leaves that file in place and shows that. Nothing is sent to ready4bots.com for this file.
robots.txt
The plugin reads the shop's own robots.txt and reports whether * or common agent user agents are blocked from the cart, the checkout (including the shop's own slugs), /wp-json/wc/store/, or /?wc-ajax=. It names the blocking line and how to change it. It does not rewrite robots.txt on its own. On a virtual robots.txt, an optional switch can add allow rules for the cart and checkout. That switch stays off unless you turn it on.
Machine-readable prices
The plugin checks whether the WooCommerce Store API is publicly reachable at /wp-json/wc/store/v1/products and /cart, and it names those endpoints in llms.txt. Optional structured data, off by default, can add product offers on shop and category pages when the page does not already output them. The plugin does not invent prices.
Badge
The badge is off by default. It appears only after you opt in, in a setting that states the badge includes a link to ready4bots.com. The shop renders it locally. It is a self-check badge, not the certified seal. Visitors' browsers do not contact ready4bots.com unless they click the link. Where that link goes is planned and not live yet: the shop's page on ready4bots.com when the shop is listed, a public result page when you have opted in to one, or a neutral explanation page otherwise.
Agent-Report
The Agent-Report is planned and is not available until the shop-report link is live. When it is, it is off until you turn it on. Turning it on sends the shop domain and a verification token. Ready4Bots then fetches a one-time token from /.well-known/ready4bots-verify.txt on the shop to confirm control of the domain, and returns a private link to reports that AI agents submitted about purchase attempts on the shop. The plugin does not send order or customer data.
Listing request
Requesting a listing is not available in this version. It is planned for version 0.2. This version has no listing button and does not send a listing request.
